Odessa International Airport is located about 7 km southwest of the city center. You can easily get from there to any place in Odessa by public transport or taxi. Check out more in Airports in Ukraine page about directions concerning to/from Odessa Airport.
Main Train Station enjoys most central location in the city making it a perfect hub for all types of transfers.
City center is situated north of the train station. The main pedestrian street Derybasivska and famous Odessa Opera House are within a walking distance and also can be reached by any means of transport headed from the train station. Prymorskyi blvd. that starts behind the Opera will take you to Potemkin staircase which leads down to a seaport with never dispersing crowds of people.
Just next to the train station in the west direction, across from busy and dirty streets, the Privoz Bus Station is serving most of short distance buses including those towards Mykolaiv and Vylkovo, Central Bus Station is located 3 km west of there. Adress: Kolontayevska str. 58. International and long-distance buses depart and arrive there including those towards Moldova.
The whole eastern part of the city is washed by the Black Sea. Along the Health ave. there are a lot of lovely places where you can enjoy the summer sun and swim. Probably the most famous beach is Arkadia which can be easily reached by tram #5 from the Train Station.
