There is a big people traffic from Turkey to Ukraine and back. Many Ukrainians spend their summer holidays in Turkey while many Turkish people come to Ukraine for vacations or regarding business issues. It is also popular route among independent travelers who skip Romania or Bulgaria.
Even though Turkey doesn’t border Ukraine by land there are still many options linking these two large states.

From Istanbul to Ukraine and back

Kyiv – Antalya
Great summer deal is provided by WizzAir. Flights from Kyiv Zhuliany to Antaliya can be as low as 130 EUR for a round trip. The bad thing is that it’s impossible to buy one way ticket. Only round trip. However even such option might pay off in busy summer time.
Alternatively you can ask any travel agent in Ukraine to add you on charter flight together with Ukrainian holiday makers. This is also an option.
From Turkey to Ukraine and back by land
If you prefer to travel between Turkey and Ukraine by land then you’ll have to cross through Bulgaria and Romania. Probably the most straight forward way is to get from Istanbul to Sofia. Then catch Sofia – Moscow train which depart daily at 20:30. In Ukraine this train stops in Chernivtsi (18:32 next day), Lviv (23:42 next day) and Kyiv (09:31 second day).
