Kharkiv International airport is located in the southern edge of the city. It is very well connected with other hubs in Kharkiv by the sytem of public transport.

Kharkiv’s second largest Metro (Subway) system in the country consists of three lines making it efficient way to get around the city. Both Central Train Station and Main Bus Station are connected with Red line. Change to Green or Blue lines in order to get to the city center or simply walk from Istorychnyi muzey (Historical museum) stop.

Central Train Station also known as Pivdennyi vokzal is situated 2-3 stops west of the city center.
Main Bus Station from where most long-distance buses depart is situated South of the city center on Prospekt Gagarina metro stop. Prospekt Gagarin metro stop is is a big hub and main Airport transfer point.
One metro stop further on Sportyvna metro station is Metalist football stadium which will host Euro-2012 games. You can also get there from the city center by Green metro line terminating at Metrobudivnykiv station.
