Check out embedded Kiev Ukraine map powered by Google and me below.

I have also created more sophisticated Kyiv (Kiev) map with main directions that every visitor of Ukraine’s capital has to know.

In my Kiev Ukraine map you will clearly see location and directions to:

  • both Kyiv airports (Zhulyany and Boryspil);
  • Kyiv Central Railway station;
  • Central Bus station in Kyiv;
  • Metro Kharkivska transfer stop towards Boryspil airport;
  • Locations of all hubs in relation to the city center.

Use my Google map of Kyiv for further directions.

As you can see there are two airports in Kyiv: Zhulyany and Boryspil. Both of them are well connected with centrally located Railway Station and the rest of the city. For more airport direction read in Ukraine airports in Kyiv page.

Metro (Subway) is the most efficient public transport in the city which is connecting a lot of hubs and transfer points.
Click on Transit button in the upper left corner in my Google map of Kyiv to display Metro system interactive map.

Central Railway station is the best connected hub in the city. You can take metro and get almost everywhere in the city including downtown which is only 2-3 stops along the Red Line in the east direction. To go to Vokzalna (Railway stn.) metro station get out from the northern (Main) terminal of the train station and turn left. Shuttle buses to Zhulyany and Boryspil airports depart from the entrance to the southern terminal of the train station.
If queues at the railway station ticket office are too long, consider going to Train Ticket Office on Shevchenka ave. 38/40 (less than 10 min on foot towards the city center) 😉

Central Bus station is located south of the city center on Blue Metro Line not far from Lybidska Metro station. Only one stop by trolley bus #4 and #11 and dozen marshutkas as well. Bus station address is: Moskovska sq. 3.

Kharkivska Metro Station in the southeastern of Kyiv is normally used if you’re travelling between Boryspil airport and city center. Get there by Green Metro Line and change to “Polit” shuttle bus going to Boryspil airport. The same in reverse.

Olympic Stadium which will be hosting Euro-2012 final is located south of the city center near Respublikanskyi Stadium metro station on a blue line.
